Prep-to-pro - "Prep-to-pro", or "the Jump", is a term given to basketball players who enter the NBA directly following the graduation of high school. It has been the subject of much controversy, as many feel that players who enter the league straight from high school are not as prepared for the rigorous NBA season as college athletes.
